British Bankers’ Association CEO and former
policy director for economic development for
Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London. Previously a
lobbyist for Morgan Stanley, Browne also ran Policy
Exchange, the UK’s largest free market think tank.
The event focused on new ways of banking and
brought together high-ranking financial leaders,
innovators, business influencers and professionals
in the banking sector to hear from industry experts
on a range of issues. Topics discussed included the
power of original thinking, change management,
the growing impact of digital banking, social media,
bank accelerator programmes and innovation labs,
as well as emerging global banking threats, cyber
security and newproduct and service development.
