Driven by Creating Shared Value, Emirates NBD’s social investment framework focuses on financial literacy and advocating for people with disabilities to meet the needs of the community in which we serve.
Under the Bank’s financial literacy platform, #moneywise, we aim to empower our employees, customers and the local community through skills development programmes that target the efficient management of personal finances.
Our internal Financial Coaching programme provides employees the opportunity to receive one-on-one coaching. Invested in the success of our customers’ financial capability, we also offer two workshops: Personal Finance Essentials and Debt Management. In 2018, we launched Tagpuan, a financial literacy programme targeted to the Filipino community.
Our Banker for a Day is a one-day internship held at our Emirates NBD branches and offices for high school students to learn about banking job functions. Further, we offer a Financial Goals 101 workshop to youth age 18 to 30 that reinforces basic financial concepts such as expenses, budgeting and setting financial goals.
Emirates NBD takes our customers’ security very seriously and launched the Secure Your Account campaign in partnership with the Government of Dubai and Dubai Police, urging UAE residents to keep their data and financial accounts safe.
